I first met Jordan, who was working as the receptionist, at a massage parlor in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A few years later, we reconnected on Instagram when she inquired about her April wedding. After our first phone consultation, I knew I had to be a part of her big day once I learned that her and Paul first met at Filling Station, a local bar at the University of Alabama. (where we both attended college) Can I get a ROLL TIDE?!

In a blink of an eye, the big day was here! As I opened the doors of Champagne Manor, my jaw dropped to the floor. I gave Jordan a big hug when I walked into the bridal suit and I could feel her butterflies fluttering in her chest. The bridesmaids were wearing floral robes, the dress was hanging from the ceiling, Wink was working their magic in the bathroom, Jordan was reading 31 letters that Paul wrote her and – there I was – capturing every moment.

Although we were running an hour behind schedule, everything fell into place seamlessly. Jordan and Paul have two kids named Emerson and Sawyer. Emerson, Paul’s 8 year old son, is devotedly loved by Jordan as if he is her own. And Sawyer, their 9 month old daughter, has been raised with infinite hugs and kisses. Kids are great, but when they pose cute in photos, I love them even more. So when Emerson led Sawyer, down the aisle in a wooden carriage, I about lost it. Then, I looked to my left and saw Paul’s reaction to Jordan . . . tears. I couldn’t keep my lens off of him. Not to mention, Emerson was boohooing happy tears during the entire ceremony next to his grandmother. * brb crying again *

After the “I dos” and their first walk as husband and wife, Jordan and Paul shared a fairytale kiss at the end of the aisle. This unrehearsed moment was everything I could have ever asked for. Dream come true. The evening continued with kind-hearted toasts, tons of tears, many laughs, delicious white cake, a golden sunset, the most killer  band  and endless dancing. Needless to say, I will cherish this wedding and swoon over this gallery forever.

P.S.

Shout out to Alabama and random massage parlors for bringing me my most ideal bride and allowing me to capture the Lee’s love story that will last them a lifetime.
