Who do you want to serve with your photography?

First, I believe that it is important for us to widen our circle of acceptance and compassion. I want to serve all walks of life. Whoever you are, whatever you look like and wherever you’re from, I want to serve you. I want to learn about who you, where you’ve been and what you believe in.  I want to serve someone who is willing to share who they are with me. No matter how different our gifts seem, each of us has something unique and exceptional to bring to the table. We are each specifically created with the ability to make this world a better place.

Why are you different than every other photographer?

Not only will I be your photographer, I’ll be your friend. I will be there for you every step of the way. I believe that a photoshoot is more fun and worthwhile when I have a relationship with my clients. I like to know what makes my clients smile and tick. I am an open book. I will tell you all about my photography experience along with all my past mistakes as a human being. I have so many stories to share and am always willing to tell you who I am and who I used to be.

I have personally experienced a lack of communication with photographers. So please know that you will always get a response from me via email, text or phone call within 48 hours. I will never ghost you! Oh and I don’t want our friendship to end after your gallery is delivered. I hate goodbyes. I’m always down to meet for coffee, drinks or even a walk around Freedom Park! I will work with you and for you to create your unique vision. I hope that my relationships with my clients continue to grow intentionally and genuinely. If you have any questions, ask away!

Who is your dream client and what sort of style do they have?

My dream client is someone who is up for adventure. Those who will stop in the middle of the road and lay down to capture that perfect shot, who will jump into a lake fully clothed and who is okay with kissing their special someone 100x in front of me. I am always seeking someone who trusts me to create an original gallery unlike any other. There is no specific style that I want my clients to have. I love it all. From rustic to classic, hipster to preppy and cowgirl to city boy. Bring it on!

Where do you enjoy shooting? What type of setting do you thrive most in?

I LOVE shooting outside. Give me all the natural light and I will do my thing! I am a southern girl. I grew up riding horses and still dream about living on a farm. So anywhere in the country or somewhere in a field, I am one satisfied lady. But I am always up to explore and frolic to new places. Anywhere you go, I go!

What sort of experience should your clients expect?

My clients should expect a relaxing and efficient experience. I am very laid back and flexible. Hopefully, you will never feel stressed with me. Also, you should feel respected and valued in front of my camera.

I will never slam a door shut on you. I want to keep my relationships with clients alive. Because of you, I have this amazing opportunity to do what I love, grow my community and collaborate with people of all backgrounds. As we take this leap into this new partnership, you should expect that your individuality will be captured!

What motivates you?

Empowering others to dig deep into their individuality and expose their confidence, strength and beauty. The Lord created us in His perfect image. I want to show you that Scripture doesn’t lie.

Why do you love being a photographer?

Photography has the power to invite the whole world into my world and connect with real people. Human connection and awareness is a powerful thing. Photography has the power to connect ourselves to the world – to show that life is bigger than ourselves. We all resemble the image of a perfect God; thus, we all deserve a life that reflects the dignity we bear. Capturing your individuality through an image is so powerful and beautiful. God gave me this gift of photography and I absolutely love sharing it!

Why do you have a blog?

I have a blog because it is a place for me to share my story. Initially, I hesitated to broadcast my past times with the internet because it is such a large and intimidating audience. But we all have stories and we shouldn’t be fearful of what others may think of them. The Bible is a collection of factual stories that teach us about who we are, what we are called to do and how our life came to be. Obviously, my story and yours will never compare to the words in Scripture. Whether or not you are a believer, stories are relatable. Life experiences teach you things that no one else can. My business, along with my website, is an invitation into my life. My blog is a place where I can be completely undone, vulnerable and honest about my emotions and journey through my life. If I want my clients to be vulnerable with me, I have to be vulnerable with them. It creates trust which produces a stable relationship.

What do you want your photography business to be known as?

I want Stephanie Bailey Photography to be known as the company that recognizes the worth of every person, whether they be poor or rich, educated or uneducated, privileged or disenfranchised. I hope to help everyone recognize their value, worth, and beauty. I pray that my business is recognized as a faithful one and one that continues to prosper.

Any more questions? Shoot me an email! I’d be happy to answer.
